StenoCAT Training at CCRA Convention

Three StenoCAT32 seminars were taught at the Oct 9-12 CCRA (California Court Reporters Association) convention held in the beautiful desert Miramonte Spa Resort in Indian Wells, California. Gigatron's Senior Technician and Trainer Rick Louie presented seminars for three levels of users: Beginning/Intermediate, Intermediate/Advanced, and Students.

Over fifty participants attended the courses, which were presented using StenoCAT's latest version (still in beta test at the time of seminar). Users were thrilled to see how easy the program was to learn on the Windows® 7 Operating System. Although class times were brief (1.5-2hours), participants were very excited to take advantage of the opportunity to see StenoCAT running live on the soon-to-be available Windows 7 platform.

In addition to the seminars, CCRA participants were fortunate to have the hardware vendors available to see the latest technologies for writers and wireless realtime transmitters, among other items. Since the CCRA convention, StenoCAT's latest release became public after it passed Microsoft tests for compatibility and reliability with Windows 7. Users should also be pleased to know that the StenoCAT release is also compatible with the latest writers and wireless devices displayed in the exhibit hall.
